The low cost airline seeks to link the North American country with Europe.
On March 5, the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) reported its decision to approve the operations of the low-cost airline Norwegian in Canada.
The company seeks to establish air routes between Europe and Canada as part of its expansion plan in the long-haul flight market.
Norwegian must now wait for other permits mainly from the Ministry of Transportation of the American country although it can already commercialize the tickets.
The airline plans to start the service after July 23, although at the moment there are no details of future routes such as cities, schedules or prices.
