EasyJet aircraft strikes bird during take-off

An airplane of EasyJet returned to airport after strike bird at Inverness Airport, United Kingdom.

The flight EZY864 of EasyJet was beginning its journey from the Inverness International Airport (INV) to London-Gatwick Airport (LGW) on Thursday afternoon when a bird hit the aircraft’s engine.

“The pilot returned to Inverness in line with our procedures and as a precaution only”, a EasyJet spokeswoman said.

Passengers waited at the airport for replacement of the aircraft for make the journey.
