British Airways plane returns to London due to fire in the cabin

The incident happened yesterday, there were no injuries.

A British Airways aircraft operating the BA-39 flight between London Heathrow International Airport (LHR) and the Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) had to return to the capital of the United Kingdom due to fire in the cabin.

The aircraft, a Boeing 787-900 and registration G-ZBKN was circulating on the FL370 route about 35 nautical miles (65 kilometers) south of Copenhagen, Denmark, when the pilots took the decision to return to London due to an electrical fire originated in the cabin that has been extinguished.

The incident caused no injuries and the British Airways plane landed on runway 27R in London-Heatrow about 100 minutes after the fire.
