An Emirates A380 almost suffers an accident in Moscow

The world’s largest commercial aircraft landed dangerously at Domodedovo Airport.

An Airbus A380 of Emirates starred in a strange event on September 10 when it was about to land at Moscow-Domodedovo International Airport (DME), in Russia.

The Flight EK131 from Dubai descended below the glide path, up to 120 meters when it was 15 kilometers from the airport, while the minimum recommended at that distance is 600 meters.

The airplane with 446 passengers and crew members on board, was raised for a new landing attempt and after a second missed approach, finally managed to land.

The UAE Aviation Civil General Authority reported that the event was described as “a serious incident“, an international term meaning that a crash was about to happen.

Authorities are still investigating the fact.
