Ryanair will start flights to Ukraine in the month of October

The low cost airline reported the start of flights to the cities of Kyiv and Lviv.

Today, Ryanair announced its plans to link Ukraine with the rest of Europe through 15 air routes to the cities of Kyiv and Lviv.

The low cost company will start its new services in the month of October, for the winter season in Europe. In this way, Ukraine joins the network of 36 countries where Ryanair operates. It is estimated that the airline carries around 800,000 passengers in the first year.

Ryanair has already started selling tickets for dates between October 2018 and March 2019. For its part, Ukrainians note that the arrival of the airline to the country provides the opportunity to travel economically and safely, favoring the development of the industry of aviation and the regional airport network.

“The entry of Ryanair into Ukraine is the most important national event in airspace in the last 20 years,” said Volodymyr Omelyan, Minister of Infrastructure.
