The airline will operate daily flights to the Australian capital since February 2018.
Qatar Airways will begin to fly a daily service between Doha and Canberra via Sydney, that means an increase to 2 flights a day between Doha and Sydney, although the airline may not sell domestic Canberra-Sydney route.
The flights between Doha Hamad International Airport, in Qatar and Canberra International Airport, in Australia will begin on February 13, 2018, and it will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Qatar’s flight will depart from Doha at 8.10am for a 6.15am arrival into Sydney the following day, an hour later it’s flying to Canberra to arrive at 8.25am.
The flight departs from Canberra at 1:45pm and arrives Sydney one hour later. After another hour’s stopover, continues on its way at 3.55pm, landing in Doha at 10.30pm.
The Middle East airline is waiting for final approvals, although it has already begun to sell tickets.
