The low cost airline will stop flying to Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca and Birmingham.
Norwegian interrupts three routes currently operating from the Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), in Spain, mainly to allocate resources to other more productive routes.
The flights between Barcelona and the airports of Bilbao (BIO) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI) stop operating on Saturday 28 October.
Meanwhile, Norwegian also leaves the route between the Catalan capital and Birmingham-West Midlands International Airport (BHX), being one of the last airlines to finish operations in that airport of the United Kingdom. A spokesman for Birmingham airport said: “This summer we saw a significant uplift in capacity to Spain, with a number of carriers competing on the same routes from Birmingham, so it’s not unusual to see airlines withdrawing services in this scenario.”
