The small aircraft rushed to the ground on Wednesday afternoon in the southeast of the country.
A military aircraft of registration KAF 720, belonging to the Kenyan Air Force, rushed to the ground on Wednesday afternoon in the small town of Wundanyi, Taita-Taveta County, Kenya.
On board the aircraft were two soldiers, who were flying between the cities of Mombasa and Nairobi as part of a training mission. For an apparent problem in the engine rushed to the ground suffering serious injuries.
The soldiers were taken to the hospital and the authorities began an investigation to find the causes of the accident.
“It is not immediately clear what caused the accident but reports indicate that the engine developed mechanical problem and it crashed after hitting a post,” said Francis Mwangi, Taita-Taveta County divisional police commander.
