LOT Polish Airlines announced two routes from Budapest to United States since May 2018.
The Polish airline announced a few days ago two new destinations, New York-JFK and Chicago-O’Hare, that will begin on May 3 and May 5 respectively.
The routes will be operated with Boeing 787-8 aircraft, offering a total of 3,024 two-way weekly seats with 4 weekly flights to New York and 2 to Chicago.
Rafal Milczarski, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines said the direct flights to United States will satisfy a major market demand in Hungary and Eastern Austria, Slovakia, the Transylvanian parts of Romania, and several countries in the Balkans.
Flights to New York and Chicago of LOT Polish Airlines resume connection to the United States since American Airlines and Delta Air Lines stopped flying to Hungary in 2011.
