The new long-haul low cost of International Airlines Group (IAG), begins its first flights in this summer with twoAirbus A330. The holding of British Airways, Vueling, Iberia and Air Lingus is working on some issues as the brand options and the final decision is expected in a few days.
IAG plans to follow in the footsteps of Norwegian to start long-haul low cost flights between Europe and the American continent.
The flights will start in June, from Barcelona-El Prat Airport, fed by the short-haul flights that airlines of the group have in the mentioned airport. Destinations at first would be Los Ángeles, San Francisco, Buenos Aires, Santiago, La Habana and Punta Cana in América, and Tokyo in Asia.
