LATAM Airlines began flights between Santiago and Tucumán

A frequency of three times a week to link the cities of Chile and Argentina.

Yesterday, October 2 was carried out the first flight that connects Santiago with San Miguel de Tucumán, operated by LATAM Airlines with Airbus A320 aircraft.

The initial flight departed from the Santiago Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) with 102 passengers on board. On the return departed of Tucumán Teniente Benjamín Matienzo International Airport (TUC), featuring a runway recently renovated, toward the Chilean capital with 167 passengers.

The route has no competitors, and flights scheme is as follows:

  • LA 448. Departs from Santiago at 8:00 local time and arrives Tucumán at 9:50.  Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
  • LA 447. Departs from Tucumán at 11:00 local time and arrives Santiago at 13:00. Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
