Delta Air Lines will stop flying to the South American country on September 17.
A few days ago was known the decision of Avianca to suspend its flights to Venezuela. Later it was confirmed also Delta will no longer operate its current flight from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Caracas Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS).
Currently, the airline operates a weekly flight using Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and last will take place on Sunday, September 17.
In the announcement issued by Delta, It warns that the suspension is indefinite and that it is due to the unstable market conditions.
Passengers with flights after September 17 will receive a full refund of the money.
Airlines that have already left Venezuela since 2014 are Air Canada, Aeromexico, Alitalia, LATAM, Gol, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Avianca.
