A Boeing 757 aircraft lands in Antarctica

The plane flew from New Zealand carrying scientists, support personnel and several tons of cargo. On Tuesday, November 21, a Boeing 757-200 aircraft landed in Antarctica carrying a group of 90 scientists and support personnel from the United States and New Zealand. The aircraft also carried about 12.5 tons of cargo. The plane belongs to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) and is 24 years old.
