United Airlines flight landed with engine on fire

An aircraft of United Airlines landed in Denver with the left engine on fire, on Sunday. The Bombardier jet was making the route Aspen-Denver, in Colorado, when at the landing moment the left engine began to burn for reasons that are still unaware. The passengers of the SkyWest Airlines flight 5869 safely deplaned the aircraft and were transported to the terminal, no one was injured. Denver International Airport said “All runways are now open as investigation into SkyWest fire continues. Other airport operations remain unaffected”. SkyWest resumes seasonal flights to West Yellowstone

The airline SkyWest resumes its seasonal flights from Salt Lake City (SLC) to West Yellowstone (WYS) for the 2017 summer season. Service started on May 25, and operates a daily flight with a 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200); In addition, other flight will be available Thursday through Monday during June and September, daily during July, and Wednesday through Monday during August.
