Air France announced Paris-Taipei route for April 2018

The French airline will fly three times a week with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Air France will fly between France and Taiwan from next year. The airline reported on December 6 that it resumed flights between Paris and Taipei after several years, starting on April 16, 2018, with three weekly flights, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flights will be operated with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, configured in three classes. An Airbus A380 of Air France loses part of an engine in mid-flight

The aircraft headed from Paris to Los Angeles made an emergency landing in Canada. An airplane Airbus A380-800 registration F-HPJE, belonging to Air France, suffered an explosion in the engine 4, which destroyed the front covering of the same causing damage to the right wing. The Air France Flight AF66 departed from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and was heading to Los Ángeles International Airport(LAX).
