A flight from Paris to London was retained and evacuated at Charles de Gaulle by a false alarm.
The British Airways Flight BA0303 was departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in France, when by a false alert the airplane was held at the airport. During three hours police and firefighters checked the aircraft and each of the 130 passengers. With the help of dogs also baggage was examined.
“There was an incident that made authorities to maintain the aircraft on the ground and disembark passengers minutes before take-off, to make more checks,” said a spokesman for the Paris airports.
Time 11.20 (9.20 UTC), all the checks had been completed and the passengers were relocated in a later flight heading to destination, the London Heathrow Airport (LHR), in the United Kingdom.
